Labor & Birthing Tubs are large spa-like tubs that are available for use in the home. Measuring five feet in diameter, the tubs are of ample size for two during your labor. An aqua blue liner makes for easy visualization, and the wall height of approximately 24 inches makes for easy accessibility.

The Labor & Birthing Tubs are clean and sanitary, with each customer receiving a personal clear liner for their own use. Tubs are temperature controlled via a thermostat which monitors the two wall heaters. A floating thermometer is included to determine the water temperature as accurately as possible.

The Labor & Birthing Tub is delivered and set up in your home. Details are reviewed with you, and we are available twenty-four hours each day you have the Tub in your home.

What will I need at my house?

You will need a water source near the site where you will have the tub set up. You will also need a garden hose and may need a faucet adaptor.

When can I get the tub?

We will deliver and set up the tub about one week before your baby is expected to be born. You may keep the tub until two days following the birth of your baby.

What if I am planning a hospital or birth center birth?

You may use the tub in your home for laboring. You may also enjoy the tub even before labor begins. Some welcome the "suspended" feeling of decreased gravity felt when in the water. Others are relieved of backache and muscle tension.
